Current Opportunities

Adult English as a Second Language (ESL) Instructor

Part-Time

The Adult ESL Instructor is responsible for planning and delivering engaging English lessons to adult learners from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds enrolled in Festa’s 3-Generation Family ESL program. As an integral part of the Programs team, this person fosters a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports language development and community connection. The Instructor will design lesson plans tailored to student needs, monitor progress, and collaborate closely with staff and volunteers to ensure every learner is supported in their journey from surviving to thriving.

Preschool Teacher

Part-Time

Preschool teachers will care for, nurture, and equip the preschool age children with skills needed to succeed in a kindergarten classroom, while their adult guardians are simultaneously attending English as a Second Language classes on site. Because many of the children may never attend traditional preschool, this is an exceptional opportunity to introduce and cultivate early childhood educational elements, including intentional exposure to the English language/usage.

Early Childhood Staff

Part-Time

Early Childhood staff care for and nurture the youngest children of adults who are simultaneously attending English as a Second Language classes on site.

Festa Friends Club School-age Program Staff: Paid Internship

Part-Time

Festa Friends Club School-age Staff are responsible for supporting the operation of our Festa Friends Club academic and recreational enrichment program for K-8th grade children. School-age Staff will plan fun, prosocial activities and supervise and build relationships with the children we serve. Staff will welcome, train and support the volunteers as they discover and share their interests and talents with the children. This is a fun and high energy, multicultural environment.
