When a delay in a child’s educational development is suspected by parents, doctor, family member, etc. a referral can be made to our program. A parent must call to initiate services. If appropriate, the child is evaluated using standardized tools. If a child qualifies for services according to state standards, an IEP will be written and the child will receive itinerant or classroom services for free. Each classroom has up to 8 children with an identified need along with 6-8 peer models that do pay a small monthly fee. We may waive a fee in cases of financial hardship. Classes are held Tuesday – Friday and are 2.5 hours each. Families must live in Hilliard to receive services.
